A: For standard prefabricated buildings or warehouses, expanded polystyrene (EPS) is a great option because it’s very lightweight and cost-effective. On the other hand, polyurethane (PU) provides much better thermal insulation and fire protection, so if you’re building a cold-storage building or somewhere with very extreme temperatures, you would want to go with a polyurethane (PU) product.

Q: Are EPS sandwich panels waterproof?
